Privacy Policy

Void Drifter · Last updated: 29 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Void Drifter (the “App”) handles information when you use it. We built Void Drifter to be played without an account and without tracking you. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Short version: The game runs and saves entirely on your device. We do not operate accounts or our own servers for gameplay. The only data leaving your device relates to in-app purchases, which are processed by Apple and our payment-management provider RevenueCat.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller for this App is:

ukando (Stefan Haßlbauer)
Contact: stefan.hasslbauer@ukando.eu

2. Data we process

2.1 Game data stored on your device

Your progress — ships, credits, cargo, codex entries, loadouts, settings and similar gameplay state — is stored locally on your device as a save file. This data is not transmitted to us. If you delete the App, this local data is removed with it.

2.2 In-app purchases

Void Drifter offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details (such as card numbers).

To deliver and restore your purchases and entitlements, we use RevenueCat, Inc. as a purchase-management service provider. In this context the following data may be processed:

DataPurpose
Anonymous app user identifier Associate purchases and entitlements with an install without identifying you personally
Purchase / subscription history and receipts Validate purchases, unlock and restore content, prevent abuse
Device and platform information (e.g. device model, OS version, country, locale) Process and attribute the transaction technically

RevenueCat acts as our processor. Their handling of this data is described in RevenueCat’s privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy. Apple’s handling of payments is governed by Apple’s privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.

2.3 What we do not collect

3. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process purchase-related data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract — delivering and restoring the content you bought) and our legitimate interest in securely operating the purchase flow and preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Data retention

Local game data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

5. International transfers

Our service providers (Apple, RevenueCat) may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. Such transfers are safeguarded by the respective provider’s contractual mechanisms, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

6. Children

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at stefan.hasslbauer@ukando.eu. Note that most game data never leaves your device and can be removed simply by deleting the App.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this address, with the “Last updated” date reflecting the latest revision.
